Job Summary:

We are seeking a Host/Cashier to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and handling transactions at the cash register.

Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage reservations and maintain the seating chart
- Answer incoming calls and take reservations over the phone
- Process payments accurately using a POS system
- Assist with takeout orders and ensure accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness at the host stand and lobby area
- Collaborate with kitchen to ensure efficient service

Experience:

- Prior experience in guest relations or food service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist guests effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak dining hours
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
